Lemon Garlic Aioli With Cajun Salmon Cakes

This salmon recipe is a bit challenging, but dont let that stop you from trying something new, you can do it, just follow along! You will be very pleased when all is said and done, so will your guests be pleased and probably surprised that you created such a wonderful salmon dish.

If youd like to make this salmon recipe a little easier on yourself, use canned or prepackaged, boneless, cooked salmon.

Ingedients (Aioli)

  • 2 Tablespoons Mayonnaise
  • 2 Teaspoons Lemon Juice
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Minced Garlic

Ingredients (Salmon Cakes)

  • 18 Onces, Boned, Skinless Salmon
  • 1/4 Cup Sliced Green Onion
  • 1/4 Cup Mayonnaise
  • 2 Tablespoons Dried Bread Crumbs
  • 2 Teaspoons Dijon Mustard
  • 1 Teaspoon Dry Cajun Seasoning
  • 1/2 Bread Crumbs
  • 1 Tablespoon Canola oil

Putting It Together

Aioli

Mix all your ingredients together for the aioli and set it aside.

Salmon Cakes

To begin, combine your salmon with the following ingredients in a medium mixing bowl, green onion, mayonnaise, 2tbp bread crumbs, mustard and cajun seasoning. Once the above ingredients are combined divide the mixture into 8 equal servings. Shape each serving into a patty and baste in dry bread crumbs.

Next, in a large skillet heat oil up over medium heat and cook each patty until golden brown.

To finish the dish off place each salmon cake on a dish and now grab the aioli you made earlier and serve over the salmon cakes.

Now give yourself a huge pat on the back, you just pulled off one wonderful salmon recipe! This salmon recipe will feed up to four people.
